Leicestershire Trading Standards Business Support Team offers a wide range of advice and information on weights and measures and licence applications. We can also provide trained staff to carry out the testing for you.

The Business Support Team can help your business to prosper by working with you. The services that we provide are efficient and economical with a pricing structure to suit all businesses - large or small.

Leicestershire Trading Standards Service is also responsible for licensing in relation to Explosives, Petroleum and Poisons.

If you would like to do some independent testing of your own, then the Scientific Services department can help. Leicestershire and Staffordshire Scientific Services carries out scientific analysis to protect the public and prevent problems. They serve public organisations, large and small businesses and members of the public.
