Regional Visual Arts Review

The East Midlands County Arts Officers’ Group are commissioning a consultant to undertake a review of visual arts exhibition, touring and commissioning in non-arts venues in the region.  These are to include any community and rural venues not normally run by professional arts management, but which have or would like to exhibit visual arts work.  Visual arts work would be defined in a broad sense to include painting, photography, installations, live art and new media, but not crafts or architecture.

This commission is funded by the five County Councils of the East Midlands and Arts Council England.  Leicestershire County Council is taking the lead role and is the commissioning agency.
