Asfordby Mine Environmental Improvement Grants

This grant scheme is a result of the closure of the Asfordby Mine and the subsequent redistribution of the remaining Offsite Landscape Scheme Funds.

The grant offers communities the opportunity to implement environmental improvements to mitigate the visual impact of the mine and enhance the landscape within 5km of the mine. The grants are available to fund environmental improvements that contribute to the community benefit of the area.
