About the Library

A shopping centre library in the centre of the village providing a full range of services for the local community.  Ramp at front of building and the library is all on one level.  Parking available.
Val Dunton, the library manager responsible for Broughton Astley, is based here.  Larger collections can be found at Lutterworth, Hinckley, or Leicester Central Lending and Reference Libraries.

Ancestry Library Edition is available in this library free of charge to do family history research. For more informarion about this service visit our News & Events webpage.

  • You need to be a member of Leicestershire Library Services
  • You need a library card and a PIN to book the computer. You can book a computer either by visiting your local library or online.
  • Logon to: www.leics.gov.uk/reference to access Ancestry Library Edition
If you are not a library member then visit your local library and ask a member of the library staff about joining the library.

Citizens Advice Bureaux.  Every Monday 10.00am - 1.00pm.
IT taster sessions available.
Regular CAB sessions on Mondays.
