Hints for first time e-mail users

Do you want to drop a line to a friend across the Atlantic? Keep track of the kids on the other side of the world?  Then try e-mail!
With e-mail you type your message, and one click sends it to it's destination. You will need to know an e-mail address for the person you are sending it to.  They usually appear in this format: somebody@something.com
Note that e-mail addresses are not the same as website addresses.

Myway.com Help Guides

Leicestershire Library Service does not offer an e-mail service as such. There are however, an ever-growing number of web sites that offer free e-mail accounts. One of the recent popular web based e-mail accounts is Myway.com, which is very good if you are a first time user because it has no advertising, no expiry date, no lengthy registration and no junk mail. There are however other well known email services such as Hotmail and Yahoo mail.
