- BECTA - provides links to other useful sites and resources
- Chomp - Chomp - a US site but does have some useful online grammar exercises
- DFES - writeplus - Department for Education and Skills site providing information on standards and links to other useful sites.
- Hope for All - Lesson plans, software and links to other resources for teachers of students with development difficulties
- Literacy Trust - an independent charity aiming to promote literacy. Links to useful sites such as ‘reading the game’.
- Move-on - aimed at Level 1 and 2 learners and those wanting to brush up their skills, as well as tutors.
- Skills workshop - Adult basic skills resources centre for students and tutors
- Support 4 Learning - provides links to a number of other useful sites.
- Target Skills - Target Skills is a set of CDs to help adults learn and practise their literacy and numeracy skills. The CDs can be linked to the CTAD Target Skills web site, where there are more materials and additional features which you and your tutor can use. There are some freebies that you can try
