Battle of Naseby Painting

This painting, in Harborough Museum, is by an unknown artist and depicts The Battle of Naseby (1645).  The painting was purchased by Daventry District Council with assistance from the National Art Collection Fund and from the Purchase Grant Scheme adminstered by the Victoria and Albert Museum.  Lent by Daventry District Council.

It is believed to have been painted 30 years after the battle
