Commitment Ceremonies

These ceremonies are for both same-sex and heterosexual, when marriage is not a preferred or currently available legal option and where couples wish to make a public or private commitment to each other. There is no legal status to this ceremony.

Ceremonies can be held at the County Register Office, one of the five Registration offices across the County or at one of Leicestershire’s approved venues.
