Registration Service Wedding and Civil Partnership Suites

Leicestershire has an impresive range of venues from which you can choose to hold a civil ceremony. The Registration Service has six wedding suites located around the County. Couples choosing to marry in one of the Wedding Suites are ensured of a personalised and caring service.

Since opening in January 2000, the Leicestershire Register Office, based at County Hall, Glenfield, has continued to be in high demand.

Designed to meet the needs of everyone and conveniently located for access from the M1, this purpose built air-conditioned modern suite can accommodate parties numbering four to fifty.

There are free car parking spaces outside the private entrance to the office, with ample additional parking on-site on Saturdays, and couples are welcome to use the courtyard and landscaped grounds of County Hall for photography. The whole of the office is at ground level, allowing easy access for disabled visitors, and the County Suite has a hearing loop installed.

The Register Office is self contained with its own entrance; wedding parties do not need to access the facilities via the main County Hall building.

The Tudor Room is a very elegantly decorated and furnished venue with a warm and welcoming feel to it. It comfortably accommodates 50 people. In addition, it also has a very large, extremely attractive landscaped garden for the use of couples, and their guests, for photographs both before, and after, the marriage ceremony. There is a large free, private, car park (housing 19 cars) at the rear of the premises, plus a large public car park next door to the building. (There is also "on street" parking). The venue is easily accessible by road from M69 (in both directions) M1, A5, A46, A5460, A47, and B4119. The Tudor Room is a proven, popular suite for ceremonies.

This stylish Suite offers seating for up to 28 guests, a garden and patio area for photographs and free car parking.

This is the smallest venue in the County holding a maximum of 18 guests. Situated close to town centre car parks, it is an ideal venue for small, intimate ceremonies prior to a church blessing. The Foxton Room is prettily decorated with a small paved area in front of the building.
