Have you ever thought about becoming a volunteer? Within
Leicestershire County Council there are a variety of volunteering opportunities to help you get involved
in your local community, help the environment and develop your interests. Some

you would work alongside experienced staff
- enabling you to broaden your knowledge and develop new skills. You’ll make new friends, meet likeminded
people and generally have fun whilst doing something very rewarding! We
also have a number of Conservation Events for Volunteers currently running. If
you’ve got some spare time and would like to have more information about the volunteering opportunities

. There is an exciting volunteering scheme for people
in North West Leicestershire called VIP (Volunteering Internships and Placements) If you have specific
skills you would like to develop or existing skills you would like to share, please contact the VIP
