Across Leicestershire organisations have been working in partnership with Sure Start Children's Centres to ensure that families of 0-5 year olds have access to a wide range of services close to home.

  

This film was created not only to celebrate what has been described as an innovative programme delivery but also to hear from those who are feeling the direct impact of their successes, the families themselves!

This DVD was commissioned by the Harborough District Children and Young People's Steering Group, as part of the district's Children's Centre Programme.

The impetus was a recognition that as many as 80% of the children arriving in our schools were likely to be significantly less physically co-ordinated than their peers of 20 years ago; and this was affecting their learning and their lives.
