Arts in Education is the performing arts service of Leicestershire Education Authority and Leicester City Council Education Department.  Arts in Education passionately believes in the cultural, educational and social value of the performing arts for young people. The service seeks to support and enhance educational provision in dance, drama and music through specialist teaching, performance opportunities and curriculum development, thereby raising standards and improving the cultural life of schools and colleges, enriching the artistic life of the community and contributing to the life-long learning of individuals

Arts in Education is a traded service with most of its income raised from providing lessons, classes and performance groups.
