Quality Assurance

Our quality assurance procedures are in place to ensure that young people of Leicestershire receive the best quality youth service we can provide. We will achieve this through a continuous cycle of improvement that is based on planning to meet the identified needs of young people and regularly reviewing our work practice to identify further areas of development.

This QA Manual was first used in September 2005. Since then minor amendments have been made to some of the paperwork including the removal of one proforma which has been superseded by corporate procedures. Other new processes such as 'unit profiles' will eventually be included as the Manual is reviewed more fully in 2008. The purpose of placing the manual on the website is part of ensuring workers can access the most current format for individual proforma.
