DescriptionThe trail is 6km (3.7 miles) long and was formerly a railway line in The National Forest. There are stone-surfaced paths suitable for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders.
There are links to Donisthorpe Woodland Park, Moira Furnace (for details email moira.furnace@nwleics.gov.uk) and Conkers (the main visitor centre for The National Forest).

Facilities
Note the Sarah's Wood car park entrance has a height restriction barrier of 2m. Anyone with a larger vehicle should use parking at Conkers Waterside.
Further AfieldAshby Woulds Cycle Trail which also includes details of further facilities near the trail. As well as various locations for refreshments, accommodation is available next to the trail at the National Forest Youth Hostel
