High Leicestershire and Rutland Cycle Map

High Leics & Rutland Cycle Map
Between Market Harborough, Oakham, Melton Mowbray and Leicester lie the rolling open landscapes of "High Leicestershire".  For riders with a good spread of gears, this is famous cycling country traversed by no less than three National Cycle Network routes plus the National Byway.
Most of the routes shown, though often quiet, are not car free, and riders must take all normal road precautions.

Vital Statistics:

3 Routes: Rutland Ride, Gartree Ride, and Guthlaxton Trail
Details of the routes, refreshments, toilets etc. are shown on the map
Map (charge £1) available from some cycle shops in Leicestershire and direct from the County Council
Rutland Ride:Rutland Water - Oakham - High Leicestershire
Gartree Ride: Melton Mowbray - Market Harborough
Guthlaxton Trail: Market Harborough - Leicester
