Did you know?

The Millennium Mile project was initiated by a suggestion from a Harborough school pupil in response to a questionnaire circulated by Millennium Celebration Market Harborough, the group co-ordinating the town’s year 2000 festivities.
A working group came up with a plan and Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity, Leicestershire County Council, Sustrans and the Harborough based HW Symington Charity agreed to fund the majority of the costs.
The Millennium Mile was opened by the people of Market Harborough with a mass walk on Saturday, January 8th 2000.
Part of this cycle route follows the National Cycle Network 6 and 64
If you pack a lunch for the ride, you may like to plan a stop in Welland Park.  It is great for picnics, with plenty of open grass area for games.
