This section is useful for private search companies and individuals who need to access the information required to complete a local search (CON29), usually for the purposes of a Home Information Pack.

Highway Boundary Enquiries

The County Council is the Highway Authority for the districts in Leicestershire excluding A5, A46, motorways and City of Leicester roads.

An ‘Extinguishment’ is a procedure which enables a landowner to legally acquire an area of public highway which can then be included within their property boundary as private land.
