Design a Poster Competition 2010
It's back again!
As with 2009, the Safer Travel team challenged the Year 6 pupils of Leicestershire to design a poster to help us promote safer school bus travel and yet again the pupils responded with loads of great designs. From visiting more Primary schools in the run-up to the summer holidays this year we expected the competition to be hotter. We certainly weren't disappointed!
We're pleased to announce that the overall winner was Jackson Walker, an ex-pupil of Sir John Moore Primary School in Appleby Magna. Jackson will receive a fantastic art kit and he has also earnt his old primary school a days free bus hire on a Leicestershire County Council Yellow Bus. As the competition was so strong this year we decided to also give art kits to two other entrants, Eve Rawlings, also an ex-pupil of Sir John Moore and Grace Deeming, ex-pupil of St. Margarets Primary School, Stoke Golding. The posters designed by our 3 winners will be distributed throughout the schools in Leicestershire so keep your eye out for these great designs.
