The Safety Camera Scheme aims to reduce casualties and collisions caused by excessive or inappropriate speed through the enforcement of speed limits and driver education. The Scheme is part of a wider road safety strategy implemented by the authorities and aims to make the roads in the area as safe as possible through engineering, education, and enforcement.
