We have care work jobs available throughout the County from time to time and this recruitment campaign will hopefully help us to meet the demand for our services, help with simple specific projects or cover for staff absences.

The Recruitment Process

Once you have submitted your application form, your information will be held in a database within the Adult Social Care Human Resources section. This information will be retained for a 6 month period after which the database will be discontinued.

The way in which the process will operate will require managers from our departments, who wish to recruit, to contact us and we will provide them with a selection of individual applications for them to shortlist from. The applications will be selected on the basis of the skills, knowledge and experience that you have in relation to the job. The recruiting managers will then contact and interview shortlisted candidates and make an informed decision about the appointment.

In all instances, your application will be considered.  However if you do not hear from us then you can assume that a suitable opportunity has not arisen or you have been unsuccessful in your application on this occasion.  Please note that an enhanced CRB check is required for all Home Care Assistant posts.
