Foxhunting: Past, Present, Future? was a one year pilot project
led by Leicestershire County Council's Melton Carnegie Museum.
The Foxhunting: Past, Present, Future? project ran for one year
from October 2005 to 2006 with a major grant of £50,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The aim
being to impartially record the impact of the Hunting Act (2004) from all points of view and discover
other foxhunting collections.
Building upon the displays at Melton Carnegie Museum, information from this project
has created an oral history archive, educational resources and highlights of relevant collections.
