WOBURN ABBEY WED 12TH JUNE
Set in a 3000 acre deer park, with 10 species of deer roaming free, Woburn has been the home of the Dukes of Bedford for nearly 300 years.  Touring the Abbey covers three floors, including the vaults, with 18th Century French and English furniture, silver and gold collections and a wide range of porcelain.  The Abbey is home to one of the most important private art collections.  Audio guides are included.  The Abbey also has 30 acres of garden designed by Repton.

GREENWICH THURS 11TH JULY
Greenwich is a world history site and the place to go if you are looking for the home of time, the Meridian Line and a wealth of Maritime History.  It is a compact destination and all the sights are in easy reach of each other making the area easy to explore on foot.  The coach will drop us at the permanent exhibition - Discover Greenwich -  which illustrates the history of Greenwich. The following attractions have free admission and members can tailor their own day.  The Old Royal Naval College, Painted Hall and Chapel, a magnificent building constructed by Wren 300 years ago as a hospital for veteran soldiers.  The National Maritime Museum, which comprises three sites - the museum, the Royal Observatory Astronomy Centre and the Queen’s House.  Admission charges apply to the Planetarium, Cutty Sark, Flamsteed House and the Meridian Courtyard.  Not to be forgotten is Greenwhich Market which has a stunning array of unique and distinctive arts and crafts and mouth-watering produce.

BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM THURS 1ST AUG
A summer holiday activity for all the family.  Historic buildings from all around the Black Country have been moved and rebuilt at this museum to create a tribute to the traditional skills and enterprise of the people that once lived in the heart of industrial Britain.  With a changing programme of demonstrations and an opportunity to meet the characters in the original shops and houses, there is something for everyone. Visit the horses, enjoy a pint of ale, chat by coal-fired ranges or just soak up the atmosphere.
