Supported Activities for People with Learning Disabilities

Support to attend activities and get out and about in Leicestershire is called Community Opportunities. This used to be called Day Services. Getting support in the day no longer means going to a large building, in a bus only used by lots of other people who use the service. Community Opportunities offer people more choice and opportunities to do things in their local community, with services being available in the daytime, weekends and evenings, and with the opportunity to do more activities in the community.
