Leicestershire Mental Health Housing Strategy

In January 2004, the Leicestershire and Rutland County Mental Health Strategy Group  tasked the Leicestershire and Rutland Mental Health Housing Subgroup to develop and drive forward a Mental Health Housing Strategy for Leicestershire and Rutland.
The strategy produced in 2005 sets out plans to meet the housing needs of people who use mental health services, giving them access to a wide range of housing options at an affordable price.
The Action Plan for the Housing Strategy was updated in 2007:

Mental Health Supported Living Strategy

In 2007, work began on a Mental Health Supported Living Strategy for Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland.  Consultation is now taking place on this draft strategy, and copies of the document are available from Shilpy Haider (tel: 0116 2957914).
The final version of the Mental Health Supported Living Strategy is expected to be available by the end of 2008.
