After an assessment Social Care Services can:

Provide help for you and your family or carers at home with things like: - shopping
- cooking
- getting up and getting ready to go out

Support you in finding something to do during the day like: - getting a job
- doing some voluntary work
- going to college
- joining fun activity groups

|
Support you to decide where you want to live now and in the future. This might be: - living in your own home with some help
- living with other people who have a learning disability
- living with another family

Make sure you are getting the right money and benefits. We can also give you advise on looking after your money.

Giving people with learning disabilities and their families or carers a break from each other. This could be staying in a hostel or with another family for a few days. It can even include someone staying or looking after the person in their own home.

Tell you about other people or services that can help you. These might be
