Safeguarding Adults (Adult Protection)Training & DocumentsThere are six levels of multi-agency Safeguarding Adults training available. All training is free and is open to staff from Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland local authorities, health services, police, fire service, independent and voluntary sectors.
Basic Awareness - all staff should have a basic understanding of their responsibilities within the Multi-Agency Policy and Procedure for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults from Abuse and within the Safeguarding Adults framework. Basic Awareness can be delivered 'in house' by local managers / staff development teams, or can be accessed as a multi-agency training session.
