Ageing Well in LeicestershireLeicestershire’s Older Person’s Handbook has been designed to help you to have some fun as you get older, to make the most of life and to deal with the sorts of issues facing you. We hope you will find this booklet a helpful reference document that’s there when you need it.
We expect you will want to do as much as possible to maintain good health and to live life as fully as possible as you age. This handbook gives you advice, as well as ideas, about what might make a difference to you as you get older. It includes contact details of local organisations and services which can help you to maintain your independence.
It has been produced through a collaboration of agencies, led by Leicestershire County Council and Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland including the NHS, District Councils, Voluntary sector organisations and the Pension Service.
