Adult Placement Service

This service offers an alternative to residential care by providing care and support for a few days, weeks or months in a family home. Long term placements are also made where the individual becomes a part of the family.

At present, there are 56 Carers with the Adult Placement Service in the County but more are always needed.  Carers are particularly needed in East and South Leicestershire and from minority ethnic communities. More carers are also needed who can offer ground floor accommodation for people with physical disabilities.
