Applying for Direct PaymentsIs it complicated to apply?![]() Not at all, your Adult Social Care Service Worker, who has agreed your needs with you, can fill in the forms that are required and work out how much payment you will get.
I'm interested in having Direct Payments. What do I do next?The Adult Social Care Service provides a Direct Payments Support Service who are committed to supporting people who wish to join the scheme but need help to get started. Your Adult Social Care Services worker will contact the Direct Payments Support Service who can arrange an advisor to visit you to plan how your funding will work and advise you on what you will need to get started. If you don't already have one you should contact your local Social Care Services Office. Alternatively, you can enquire about Direct Payments using the online form
