Telephone Surveys

What is a Telephone Survey?
A set of questions employed to ascertain people's opinions on particular topics. Participants will be contacted by phone and the interviewer will ask a standard set of questions.
What does a Telephone Survey achieve?
They provide a means of gathering a snapshot of the views of a large number of people. The results can be summarised in the form of statistics allowing the measurement of such things as:
  • Current performance;
  • Possible future performance/expectations;
  • Attitudes;
  • Opinions.
When will we use a Telephone Survey?
Telephone Surveys are used when we need to gather a quick response and are usually easier to manage than face-to-face interviews.
