Shared Care for Children with Disabilities

Service Description

Wherever possible, we support families in their aim to keep a disabled child at home, by providing home-based support. Where this is inappropriate or impractical, respite care may be provided through extended day care services, or the Short Breaks scheme. In more complex cases this is provided through residential services. Foster care and residential services are also sometimes available.
