Road Safety - Cycling and Walking to SchoolService DescriptionCycling and walking to school is being encouraged as an alternative to travelling by car over short distances. Works such as wider footways, better pedestrian crossing points are carried out to make walking safer and easier, whilst cycle journeys are encouraged through better cycle routes and secure cycle storage at schools. The Council is keen to help schools develop School Travel Plans and safer routes schemes are often installed to support them.More InformationContact Details
