Road Safety - Traffic Schemes
Service Description
The Council carries out a wide range of traffic schemes in support of our Local Transport Plan Objectives. Our aim is to improve the efficiency and safety of the highway network to meet the transport needs of the county without detriment to the environment and the quality of life in local communities. Traffic schemes include traffic signal junction controls, parking regulation, traffic calming, bus priority measures, pedestrian and cyclist route improvements and road signing.
