Service Description

The Record Office accepts material from a wide variety of sources on many different terms

• As donations (gifts)
• As bequests
• On loan (where an organisation is unable for legal reasons to give away its records, but wants them cared for by the Record Office)
• Rarely, the Record Office will purchase records, often receiving financial assistance through its Friends organisation or other charitable or award giving bodies.
