Service Description

Do you need to order copies of birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificates? The civil records for Births, Deaths and Marriages began in 1837. These are held locally at the Registration Office in whose district the Birth, Death or Marriage took place. Copies are now also available for Civil Partnerships. Copy certificates can be obtained from any of the 8 Registration Offices around Leicestershire.
