Corporate Asset Management Plan & Capital Strategy

The County Council has a responsibity for land, buildings and other assets within the county. These include Schools, Social Services Homes, Libraries, Administrative Offices, Country Parks, Farms etc. In order to deploy and utilise these assets most effectively the County Council produces a Corporate Asset Management Plan (AMP). This involves the Council in a five year planning cycle relating to the acquisition, disposal and maintenance of these assets. The AMP is reviewed and updated annually.
