Communities Fund

We launched a communities fund in March to help groups and volunteers carry on supporting vulnerable people across the county during COVID-19.

Now, an extra £100,000 is being ploughed into our £1.5m communities fund.

From today (Monday 13 July 2020), community groups in county lockdown areas can apply for a share of the £100,000. The move is designed to support people who are vulnerable or shielding and bolster mental health and wellbeing support.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 24 July 2020, see: Leicestershire Communities Fund - Round 2 for more information and how to apply.

Also, read the latest information about the extra funding to help those in need.

If you require funding to specifically assist you through this current crisis please visit the Leicestershire Communities Fund page where there is a list of other funding currently available.
