Rapid asymptomatic home test kits

We're offering Covid rapid lateral flow home test kits to all those in Leicestershire who don't have symptoms, have not tested positive within the last 90 days, and have not been in contact with a positive case in the last 10 days.

This type of testing can help identify people who are infected but do not have symptoms. This helps to prevent the spread of the virus.

You're eligible for rapid asymptomatic home test kits if you meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • You do NOT have symptoms of COVID-19, which can include:

    • a high temperature
    • a new, continuous cough
    • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
  • You have NOT tested positive from any type of Covid-19 test, within the last 90 days

  • You have NOT been in close contact with a positive case in the last 10 days

  • You are aged 18 or above, and are NOT part of an existing regular asymptomatic testing programme, e.g. through your workplace.

If you currently have symptoms, you must book a test through the NHS website (not a lateral flow test here) or by calling 119 and remain in isolation until you receive your test result.

Collect and get advice on a home testing kit

If you meet the eligibility criteria above, you can collect a home test kit from any of these community testing centres below.
