Rapid asymptomatic testing
Eligibility
You are eligible for this type of rapid asymptomatic testing if you meet the following criteria:
1. You live or work in Leicestershire AND are not able to work from home during the current lockdown, OR
You are a resident living in one of these 7 wards in North West Leicestershire:
- Greenhill
- Holly Hayes (in Whitwick)
- Hugglescote (both wards)
- Snibston (both wards)
- Thornborough (in Whitwick)

2. You currently do NOT have symptoms of COVID-19
If you are displaying symptoms, which can include:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
you must not book a lateral flow test.
You must book a test through the NHS website or by calling 119 and remain in isolation until you receive your test result.
3. You have NOT tested positive from any type of test, within the last 90 days
4. You are currently NOT isolating
This may be due to close contact with a positive case or recent return from a holiday abroad. You must stay at home and complete your isolation.
5. You are NOT part of an existing regular asymptomatic testing programme

How to book a test
You must book an appointment for a test.
Appointments are per person and tests are self-administered. This is to help manage the flow of people through the testing site and to keep everyone safe.
