Draft Joint Living Well with Dementia Strategy

The consultation on the draft Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2019 - 2022 has now closed.

Supporting and helping those living with dementia and their carers remains a priority for Leicester, Leicester shire and Rutland’s (LLR) health and social care organisations.

We want the well-being and quality of life for every person with dementia to be uppermost in the minds of all health and social care professionals.

The draft Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2019 - 2022 sets out the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ambition to support people to live well with dementia.

Key priorities have been identified to support people affected by dementia specifically those with memory concerns, those with a dementia diagnosis, their families and carers and the organisations supporting them.

We described our planned actions for each of our priorities and wanted to know your views on these. This feedback will be used to develop our detailed action plans which will support this Strategy.

The consultation was hosted by Leicester City Council.
