- Due to the role being county wide, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
The Homecare Assessment and Reablement Service (HART) and the Community Response Service are proud to provide short term support to around 3,200 people in Leicestershire each year. The services help people return home from hospital, or prevent them from being admitted to hospital, and to regain their independence.
As we are an expanding service, you will be part of something new and can help to steer the team towards transformation, while maintaining our high standard of care and making a real difference to the people and communities of Leicestershire - we are looking for enthusiastic, caring, committed and reliable individuals to join our successful teams.
Reablement is a type of support that is short term which helps someone to remain happy and independent, by giving them the opportunity, motivation and confidence to relearn or regain some of the skills for daily living, that may have been lost as a result of illness, accident or disability.
We provide safe-and-well checks for people who are vulnerable.

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, paid for by Leicestershire County Council. These posts are subject to satisfactory references as required for regulated activity.
