The events which are being held as part a wider review into passenger transport, aim to save the county council around £400,000.
The first event takes place on Monday (7 October) at the Marlene Reid Centre from 12:50pm. Events are also taking place on:
- Tuesday 8 October at Stanton Under Bardon village hall at 10:15am
- Tuesday 8 October at Anstey’s Jubilee Hall in Anstey from 3:30pm
- Thursday 10 October at St Hardulph’s School in Breedon on the Hill at 5:15pm.
At the meetings, proposals to integrated the 120 service which runs from Leicester through Newtown Linford, Markfield, Stanton Under Bardon and Coalville and the 155 service which runs from Coalville via East Midlands Airport to Castle Donington will be discussed.
In addition, communities will be invited to help find solutions to local transport issues that may either complement, improve or replace the county council’s transport offer. While the review is taking place all bus services will continue as normal.
