Leicestershire County Council’s highways teams are out clearing trees and branches following strong winds and heavy rain.
The authority’s crews will continue to monitor the weather conditions to ensure people are safe and to keep the roads moving.
Gangs are currently dealing with five call-outs to remove trees blocking roads across the county and responded to three call-outs yesterday (13 March).
Our teams have been very busy dealing with the aftermath of recent high winds and rain, clearing roads and footpaths where trees and branches have fallen.
