The historic house is hosting an early celebration

Festive Gift Fair information

Preparations for Christmas have started in earnest with Beaumanor Hall hosting its festive gift fair this weekend. (Saturday November 20 and Sunday November 21.)

A wide range of local makers and crafters will be trading from more than 60 stalls at the 19th Century country house at Woodhouse, near Loughborough.

There will be time to relax and enjoy the beautiful Christmas tree, festive decorations and food including mulled wine, mince pies and a winter barbecue.

Leicestershire County Council chairman councillor Dan Harrison is to open the event.

He said: “This weekend offers a wonderful opportunity for everyone to support the hard work and dedication shown by so many local small businesses.

"Historic Beaumanor Hall offers an exceptional venue in which to hold this event and we’re delighted to be bringing live music to keep everyone entertained.”

Further information about the fair is available at http://www.beaumanorhall.co.uk/events/
