Leader opens new forest school

New school offers children opportunity for hands-on, outside learning

Cloud Hill Forest School

Our council leader, Nick Rushton, officially opened a brand new forest school last weekend.

Cloud Hill Forest School is based in Worthington and runs on Saturday afternoons.

Forest schools offer children excellent opportunities to build confidence whilst learning practical skills and I’m pleased to see a new one open its doors.

Outdoors, hands-on learning can play a big part in our children and young people’s development and well-being - and it’s great news that Cloud Hill is adding to the wide range of educational opportunities available across Leicestershire.
