Teenagers across Leicestershire are being wished the best of luck, ahead of A-level results day this week.

The countdown has begun for nearly 3,000 young people across the county, who are preparing to find out their grades on Thursday (13 August).

We are incredibly proud of our young people and the continual effort they have made, at what has been a very challenging time.

“I know a lot of hard work has gone into preparing for this moment and achieving these qualifications, and I’m sure many will be glad the wait is nearly over.

“I’d like to wish everyone receiving results on Thursday the very best of luck, and hope they get the grades they need to take their next step.

This year, student’s final results will be determined through predicted grades, mock exam results and other work completed during their studies.

Students looking for guidance or support after receiving their results should seek help firstly from their school or college where staff will be available to advise on the options available.

Our careers advisors can also provide further advice either through schools and colleges or local centres and they can be contacted on 0116 305 6620.
