Harborough District Children and Families Well-being Centre

Children and Families Well-being Centres are a government run programme to support to all families with babies and children from pregnancy until they go to school.  Support offered aims to ensure that every child receives the best possible start in life by bringing together early education, health and family support.

We have 5 centres covering Harborough District including venues in Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Fleckney and Bushby

We have a team of friendly family outreach workers whose aim to help those that most need it by providing information, advice and services.The types of support they can offer include:

Weaning information

Sleep routines

Behaviour management

Debt solutions

Housing Support

Benefit and finance checks

Finding a childcare place – 2year & 3 year Free Early Education Entitlement  (FEEE)

Sexual health

And lots more!

We run a range of groups from our centres which are open to all, including:

Bumps to Babies – all centres

Breastfeeding Support – Lutterworth and Broughton Astley

Buggy walk (fortnightly) – Lutterworth. 

These sessions are open to all, and also coincides with breastfeeding group

Families living in Harborough District can access services delivered at all Harborough Sure Start Children’s CentresWe also run some more specialist services and groups in partnership with other services and agencies.
