Leicestershire and Rutland County FA - Blind Talent Hub Centre

The Leicestershire and Rutland County FA is dedicated to delivering football for all from 6 years plus to adults.

We have been granted a Football Association licence to run a Regional Blind Talent Hub programme. The Talent Hub is designed to progress blind players with potential - through to the England talent pathway to the England Development and Seniors Squad through group work and more 1:1 support

The aim of the centre is to identify and recruit Blind Players both local and across the East Midlands who are interested in playing blind football and that have the potential to move up the pathway.

The Programme focusses on:

  • Control
  • Passing
  • Dribbling
  • Defending
  • Shooting and finishing
  • Goalkeeping
