Mosaic: Shaping Disability Services

Cre8ing Opportunities at Mosaic: shaping disability services provide day services for adults with disabilities from customers who are more independent to those who need more support such as individuals with PMLD.

We operate from a range of venues such as leisure centres, community centres and churches across Leicester and Leicestershire.  We have 30 activity groups per week running Monday to Friday for customers to choose from including activities in:

  • Leicester Forest East
  • Aylestone
  • Beaumont Leys
  • Leicester City Centre, Abbey Park and West End
  • Loughborough
  • Desford.

as well as a flexible weekend option.

We provide activities such as cooking and baking, arts and crafts, sports and games, sensory and learning activities, as well as outing and trips.

Staff are highly trained and able to provide for all aspects of care and support in line with the individual's support plan, such as assisting with eating and drinking, medication, personal care, physio, enteral tube feeding etc.

We also provide a Children's Short Breaks service on an ad hoc basis during the year, which are Saturday sessions for children aged 5 years and upwards.
