The Melton and Glenfield Projects are co-located in Glenfield, Leicester. We provide high quality overnight short breaks for young people with severe learning disabilities and associated complex physical and behavioural care needs. Young people are supported with all aspects of care and support in an inclusive and homely environment. We work to individual requirements and engage children and young people in a range of activities that stimulate learning, enhance social skills and independence and create opportunities for meaningful friendships and participation in the community. Both services are open to young people between 6 and 18 years of age. Each service can accommodate a maximum of 4 young people at any one time. The services are operational 7 nights per week, providing tailored care and accommodation. Provision is based on the specific needs of each of the young people supported and stay duration can be tailored within the terms of our Ofsted Registration.
